ALASKA
Honey moon in Alaska. Stayed in a hotel in Juneau one night. My wife woke me up around 10am - she said there were a bunch of police cars and fire trucks across the street with barricades and a crowd of people pointing at our hotel. We open the window and bunches of people were pointing at us. We heard some one yell out "there's still someone in the building!" next we heard footsteps (running) and banging on the door. "Get out! Get out, there's a bomb in the hotel!" My wife says "I can't go yet, I'm not finished putting my make-up on" I said to her that we were going now or the mortician will be finishing the job. 15 seconds later (maybe less) we were standing on the sidewalk with the rest of the crowd. Turns out some Japanese tourist forgot a package of batteries in their room. |
