Scott
of the Antarctic
The
Journals of Captain Robert E Scott's last polar expedition
This
autobiography is pieced together from Scott's diary of his expedition
to the South and his later death.
It is very sad as we already
know the outcome but reading through the journal entries you cannot
but respect and admire the expedition as they encounter their difficulties
with dignity even towards the end when they knew were facing certain
death. This account is strongly recommended for readers of survivor
tales and indeed compares infinitely better than current "survivor
style" reality television shows.
