Getting to Churchill there: This non-commercial website gives complete information on the town of Churchill, alternative lodgings and different ways to get there. : www.creighton.edu/~hutchens/churchill.html

Air Travel: We cannot arrange flights but will be able to assist interested persons in finding information. Several airlines go there:
http://www.calmair.com/
http://www.kivalliqair.com/

Travel by train:
Many travel by via rail to get to Churchill. This option may take an extra 1.5 days but is also cheaper. Additional some prefer a scenic trip by train with an air flight home. The via website is: http://www.viarail.ca/en_index.html Churchill may be reached only by rail from Thompson Manitoba or Air usually out of Winnipeg but there are other destination cities.

Plan in advance:
We urge attendees to carefully research their accommodations and travel plans as during peak season prices go up and choices may become limited. We have negotiated a group rate of $1700 for out participants in Churchill but many of the scheduled events may be booked independently and we encourage interested participants to research other options. Our conference is designed to occur in the evenings so that registrants may opt out of the accommodations and simple join us in the evenings but we expect the majority to wish to attend the Polar Tundra tours and this package was the best we could negotiate.

Information Updated April12th, 2005 Corrections and changes will be up dated as necessary
